First off let me say that I have been playing since 1962 and I have never used any non-wood cue sticks ever I'm so used to the feel of a wooden shaft. Now that being said I bought this Evo cue out of curiosity since I see so many young players using them so I gave it a try and I
have to say as hard as it is to say this cue is something
special especially for the low cost it took a little getting used to but once I did I don't think I can go back but I have a wood shaft that screws right onto the butt of this cue so if I want to switch back I can use the butt of the Evo cue with the wooden shaft so it gives me the best of both worlds. The way the cue comes from the factory is made from very good materials and I added a little bit of weight with their Factory weight bolt kit and it feels excellent to me and for the money I don't think you can do any better
I love the balance, weight, and feel of the cue. It hits solid, and although the tip isn't a "brand name" tip, it plays well. It is solid, and although the cue contains carbon fiber, it feels like a top quality wood or kielwood shaft, not a carbon fiber shaft, which don't feel right to me. The only way it could play better would be to make the shafts 16 inch pro taper shafts. That slight change would make the EVO cues pretty close to perfect.

My daily stick is a Pechauer with a rouge carbon fiber. Lets start with the packaging it came in, it was foam fitted and covered with another piece of foam very impressed by the boxing. The stick itself looked even better than the ads made it look. I put a little more shape on the tip and hit some balls, I was amazed at how well the stick played. There was no feed back the hit sounded and felt great. The tip was able to perform any english I applied to it. I was almost tempted to put it on the lathe and try the "game changer" tip that was included with it. I have over 30 sticks ranging from over $1000 to $75 dollars and this stick is a solid 8 against a high end custom. Against a stick in it's price range it's definitely an 11! Very impressed with it for it's price nice job!
Beautiful cue! Lightweight and allows for great control over the cue ball. I couldn't ask for anything better for the little bit of money I spent on this stick.

I'm impressed. I haven't had the chance to use it yet, due to work schedule. But so far I'm happy with it. Looks, balance, weight. My son, who actually plays just about everyday, was very impressed with it.
Havent used much but from what I’ve noticed so far with the little but tip plays a little harder than im used to but very smooth with the stroke nothing to say bad on the cue or shaft but shipping does take a little longer to get if they find a way to the shipping done faster then would give them 5 stars
